Basketball

The littles have also been taking a basketball class through the city together.  They had lots of fun learning how to dribble, shoot and the triple threat.  On the last day, the coach deemed Maylee Grace most improved.  She got much better over the few weeks.  When she first started she couldn't keep the ball from hitting her feet.  By the end, she could dribble half the court and shoot.

Baking Cookies

We had the urge to make some cookies one morning.  Maylee Grace loves to help in the kitchen.  She quickly ran and got her apron and stool and started helping.  Don't let the picture of Matt and MG fool you.  He just happen to come home for lunch that day.  He grabbed his new Super Man apron he got for Father's Day and acted like he was helping.  :) 

Dance, Dance, Dance!

The littles have been enrolled in a dance classes this summer.  I have had so much fun watching them enjoy their classes.  I tried to capture a few fun times.  It is difficult because I watch the class from behind a window.  Payton is taking Comic Book Hip Hop where each week they dress up as a different Super Hero.  At the same time, Maylee Grace is taking a Fairy Tale Ballet class where they dress up like a different princess each week.  They grin ear to ear the whole time they're in class and they are so animated.  I love it!

Father's Day 2013

My kids are so blessed to have the Daddy that they do.  Matt is such a family man and I am so thankful for that.  God knew exactly who I needed to have beautiful children with.  I love that he loves them so very much.  He is such a godly leader in our home and a man of extreme integrity.  I could not be more proud of him.

Super Hero Sunday

Matt has been doing an "At the Movies" sermon series at church this summer.  This Sunday was Man Of Steel which turned into Super Hero Sunday.  We encouraged everyone to wear or dress up in any super hero gear they had.  It was a "super" fun day!

Cowboy Up!

Matt officiated a wedding this weekend of a girl we've known since she was in junior high.  Her parents are friends of ours.  It was a cowboy wedding with the entire bridal party wearing cowboy gear.  The kids wanted to fit the part.

This is what our living room looked like as the whole family had a camp out in the living room due to our air conditioning unit breaking down.  We were surrounded by open windows and fans.  While we were all a sweaty mess, at least the kids thought it was fun!

Little Paul

Aunt Rachel captured this hilarious shot of our Payton a.k.a.  "little Paul".  He resembles his Papaw Sellers in this picture.  He looks like a kid version of him.  I don't know how you can look at this picture and not crack a smile.  This sums up Payton.  This kid makes me laugh every single day.

Southern Baptist Convention

Matt and I were invited to attend the National Southern Baptist Convention in Houston, TX as hosted church planters from the North American Mission Board (NAMB).  We were so blessed that Aunt Rachel came and stayed with our kiddos, so we could take advantage of this trip.  We were treated like royalty and had such a good time together.  We even had some time to get down to the beach in Galveston.

Sunshine, Swimming and Smiles

The summer has already been full of many hours in the pool.  We love have friends over to swim.  The kids are having a blast and can't seem to get enough of it.  Mommy especially likes it because it makes them very tired and definitely ready for bed by the end of the day.

Junior Golf Clinic

The boys have been participating in the Jr. Golf Clinic at a local golf course.  This is Payton's first time at trying out the game of golf.  Camden is quickly becoming a pro.  I can't believe how good he is!  Matt thinks Camden will be better than him by the end of the summer.
