In one corner of the fairgrounds, they had McDonald's farm set up. The kids started with baskets and collected things to harvest and learned how to do things that farmers do to make our lives better. Then, at the end, they turned in everything they'd collected.....fruit, veggies, milk, wool, etc. to "sell" at the market. They were rewarded with a treat.
No animals were harmed in this process.... :)
After the farm area, we headed to the petting zoo. Maylee Grace just squeeled with all the animals. She loved them!
