Fun in the Sun!

Cagan checking on Maylee Grace. Cagan protects her and lays right by wherever Maylee Grace is in the yard. She loves her.

We had a pizza picnic outside....can you see the leftovers?

Maylee Grace loves to kiss her "Bubba". When she first sees Camden after a nap or in the morning, she starts smacking her lips to give him a kiss.

Good news, unlike her brothers, Maylee Grace has skin pigment! She has tan lines! I'm so proud. :)

Maylee's love for....dog food?

So Maylee Grace has figured out where we keep Libby's food in the laundry room. Anytime she sees the door open, she scurries across the floor to get to Libby's dog bowl. Last night, she helped herself to Cagan's dog dish outside. She started feeding Cagan piece by piece...only because Mommy wouldn't let her eat it. :)

COLORADO

We decided to get out of town to some cooler weather for a few days. We went to visit Aunt Rachel in Colorado. We had a great time!
One of the highlights of the trip was going to see the Diamondbacks play the Rockies. It was a very HOT afternoon game.

Payton was making lots of new friends at the Rockies playground. He was telling them, "We're going to play Batman. I'm Batman and your Robin."
Before the game, the boys watched the Dbacks warm up. Camden got a ball autographed.

All my boys :)

Aunt Rachel and Maylee Grace hanging out in the shade...it was HOT!

We took an afternoon to visit the Denver Aquarium. The kids loved it! Maylee Grace loved watching the fish and just squeeled with excitement! The boys especially loved the sharks.

I didn't realize that they were both doing the same thing until after I looked at the picture later.
At one point, Maylee Grace got really scared when a big fish swam a little too close for comfort to where she was. She didn't like it and started crying.

checking out the turtle

Fun at the park

While in Colorado, we got to share some time with our friends the McCombs. Bill and Nancy McComb and their boys are friends of ours from Phoenix. They are missionairies in Africa and are currently home in the states.

Palmer Lake

Can you believe that this wasn't set up? Camden was helping Payton so he wouldn't get too close to the water. How sweet!

A train stopped on the tracks right next to the lake

Pagosa Springs, Colorado

We took a spontaneous and wonderfully relaxing trip to Pagosa Springs with our good friends. It was so beautiful. The weather was perfect and the scenery was spectacular! We hiked to a couple of waterfalls.

This was the view from the bottom. We hiked up right underneath the water!

At this stop there were tons of chipmunks. They came right up and ate food out of our hands.

Throwing rocks in the river...my boys would do this all day long!

MAYLEE GRACE IS 11 MONTHS OLD!

Our dear precious May is 11 months old. I can hardly believe it. She's looking less and less like a baby everyday. These are her first pigtails!!!! I've waited for years and years to be able to put ponytails in MY OWN daughter's hair!

A day in the life...

Daddy LOVES to make pancakes for the family. Maylee Grace got to have her very first pancakes. She loved them!

Payton has a slight obsession with his yellow lion blankie. This day he had tucked him in his shirt and left him there for over an hour.
Payton loves to dress up.
Camden and his nerf gun...the funny thing about this is that Camden loves to go and shoot darts in the backyard. The only problem is our weenie dog, Libby, loves to chase the darts. She barks and barks until he shoots and then she runs to get them. Pretty funny!
